Dance instructors necessarily become lifelong learners as more intricacies and knowledge are revealed about Ukrainian dance. Professional development and other learning opportunities equip teachers with the tools they need to help students reach their full potential as dancers as well as provide leadership within the
Ukrainian community as preservers of the culture. UDIC brings together Ukrainian dancers and dance instructors from across Canada to develop a greater understanding of Ukrainian dance lexicon, Ukrainian ethnography, as well as other topics related to the art
form.
